Wrong thread to ask but...how do I do that? You can PM me the answer if you want so we don't drag this off topic.

how can you not see the advantage? if i may ask you, why are you using this bot, if not for the advantage it gives you?

Id love to know how much more high end limited items we lost this time.

How many kanaxai/oni/hench tonics got erased from existence?

Id appreciate if ANet would give a statement about those items.

Okay, with that idea that anything that gives an "advantage" even if it's not harmful to anyone, so, a timer that beeps every minute on my computer to remind me is a third party program that is giving me and unfair "advantage" and should be bannable, and hell, this egg timer on my desk is hardware meant for exploiting the same thing.

LADIES AND GENTS HIDE YOUR EGG TIMERS WHEN YOU'RE WORKING ON DRUNKARD.

No gestapo I am wearing mine gold star and I do not have an egg timer.

It was also stated that they were quiet about the bans. Maybe they are keeping quiet on macro bans for a reason.

except that an egg timer still requires you to click in game rather than go off and do something else away from the computer.

Stop arguing, your embarrassing yourself now

You asked a simple question and we gave you a simple answer, no need to make smart ass comments about timers and beeps on your computer.

stop taking this out of context, they are banning for botting, and using a drunkard bot is well...botting. just because the advantage it gives may not seem as significant as other bots, it does not take away the fact that it is a bot, and therefore bannable.

What should be done now is that a mod take out every post but the Anet employees posts before this gets too out of hand as I can see that approaching.

EDIT: Man, the site is slowing down, I guess this is gaining some activity now more ragers to come!

I'm simply questioning whether or not something that is not intended to be malicious, is not malicious in any way, and not harmful to anyone, should be acted upon.

Everybody seems to have this "there is no victimless crime" mentality, but in this case, there is. Please point to the victim.

It's like two people getting into an automotive race and the guy who is driving an eighty five civic getting pissed off because homeboy showed up to face him driving a lambo.

I say in a week or so if they havent come forward to argue or been proven incorrectly banned Anet takes all the minis and reinstalls them to the game with Lotto tickets-say 10 per account.

Thanks Anet well done

I for 1 am happy. There hasn't been a day go by where I didn't encounter a team with 2 mesmers and 1 ranger with a full bar of interupts and interupting 1/4 cast spells. This will make pvp much more fun and interesting since alot of the top teams were doing this.

/approve

Seeing now that they seem to be okay with players using the original TexMod, that gives me some relief, but I'm still disappointed to be unable to access GW right now to make sure my account is still safe and sound.

I was sure that ANet was listening, but not certain that they would react. This makes me a little more confident in what ANet is doing towards this issue.

One question that I still have is about the /report command. This command has an option for reporting botters, but the statement that James Phinney gave only mentioned to go to Support for reporting botters. Can we still count on using the /report command for botters to have some kind of purpose or effect?

No they killed bots and if rich or leet players got caught then RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOem, serves them right for being cheating twatends.

The only ones who don't deserve scorn are those who have been wrongly banned and lets hope Anet pull their finger out and get any possible errors reversed.

Stop making stupid arguments....

A bot does it for you , you press go and come back when you have a title. A timer which beeps at a set time so you know when to press a button is totally different , which is pretty bloody obvious.

Drunkard bots have, to my recollection, always been considered againt the EULA and a banable offense whereas non automated programs like texmod and Multilaunch were not.

Only thing I want to know is what was removed from the game besides cheating scumbags. I'll never know but still...

PS. Too bad I missed out on Dhuum. Would've been LOLWTFEPIC to screen shot some of the banned accounts being taken away. Would love to know who got banned.
